Lyrics to Lilla’s New Single “Crystal Love”

Crystal Love
Lyrics by: Lilla

Your love is tender
Baby I surrender
Since I can remember
You took my breath away

And I don’t know how it happened (ooh baby)
But you got something magic (ooh baby)
And I know I got to have it (ooh baby)
Every night and day (on the daily)

It’s so magical, magical
And every hour is beautiful, beautiful
You got a power so mystical, mystical
You know you know you’re a miracle, miracle

It’s so intoxicating
The feel of your vibration
You’re and energetic station
And your giving so much light

Now I got the notion (ohh baby)
That you got some kind of of potion (ohh baby)
Cause I fell like I am floating (ohh baby)
You been dosing me all night (ohh baby)

It’s so magical, magical
And every hour is beautiful, beautiful
You got a power so mystical, mystical
You know you know you’re a miracle, miracle

Lovin’ you my baby
Under your spell and if feel so amazing
You got a power that’s intoxication
Gimme the magic and don’t keep me waiting

It’s so magical, magical
And every hour is beautiful, beautiful
You got a power so mystical, mystical
You know you know you’re a miracle, miracle

New things on the Horizon!

Greetings, and welcome to my new site!  First I would like to thank you tons for dropping by.

In lieu of the New Year I would like to give you a little recap of what I’ve been up to lately.  I know that I have been a little off the map.  I have been studying at Berklee College of Music and I am now getting ready to graduate!  In my free time I have been working hard to finish my second album, which is currently undergoing the final few finishing touches.  Last night we stayed up until 4am completing the last song!

The album is very special to me because I got the opportunity to work with some amazing musicians, as well as record in some unbelievable places.  One of the places was Bob Marley’s studio, in Kingston JA, “Tuff Gong”.  I’ll tell you more details about working in Jamaica in the nextblog entry so stay posted!

Connecting Souls Through Music

I was also fortunate enough to work, record and tour with a group of musicians from Brazil. Brazilians have some of the best rhythm I have ever heard!  The drummer and bass player are brothers and the keyboard player is their close friend, so you can imagine the groove right?  Sadly, after loosing a long battle to extend their artist visas, they had to return to Brazil.  Thank you George Bush and your immigration laws for tearing apart a band that made people dance, smile and sing together! While our time together was short lived, it was sensational. Luckily, we got some recordings, which will be on the new record.

One of my main goals with this project is to bring different cultures and musicians from different countries together. After all what better way to unite people, then through something that we all love… Music! When working with the Brazilians, it was as if as soon as the sound began, everything else disappeared.  Time froze in the polyphony.  And I hope my experience is what you feel when you listen tothe record.

I’ve been recording in LA, Boston and Oregon as well.  Traveling a lot, getting to see new places, keeping crazy hours and not getting to see my family very much. Through all this, I have tried to stay healthy physically and spiritually.  I have been doing a lot of exercise, yoga, and meditation while doing my best to be conscious of the things I put in my body, (at one point I did a short stint as a vegan).  This has been a hard with such a busy schedule and the fact that I love chocolate, French fries, ice cream and sleep!  But I am happy to say thatdespite the challenges that I have faced recently, I know that 2013 is going to be a great year and I’m beaming with excitement to share some new music with you!!!

Big Love!

Lillian

P.S. I also changed my name… More on that later.
